Tasty Tuesdays

Artisan Food Items

I have always had a thing for artisan or say "foodie" items... I'm the person who will go into Williams Sonoma regardless if I need to buy anything in order to see what new type of sea salt or decorating sugar is new to the market....

This is also why I love wandering around the Ferry building marketplace here in SF and going to the local farmer markets is just as exciting to me as shoe shopping.  At these markets there's always a handful of clever vendors who have thought of putting some unusual concoction of ingredients together....that end up tasting incredible...

So, for this week's edition of "Tasty Tuesdays" here are some amazing items that are sure to impress the ultimate "foodie" friend.

Jonboy caramels made in Seattle, WA
(available in 3 different flavors)

Chef Thomas Keller's Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix

Unique and delicious combinations of flavors in this brand's jams

Pure cane sorghum and mint julep sugar that can be found (here) and (here)

"The Comfort Collection" includes a variety of flavors
 such as black truffle,
white cheddar and Spanish paprika
