The Perfect Summertime Dress

With it being the 4th of July this week, if it didn't feel like summer already, it surely will after this coming Wednesday....while Memorial Day seems to signify the start of summer I've always felt like once it was July 4th it meant you were officially in the height and full swing of the season...

Although, the weather can feel like the complete opposite of summertime here in San Francisco... with the summer fog and all...its been exceptionally nice and pleasantly warm most days so far.

This past Saturday night I was out to dinner with some people in the Mission and had my good friend visiting from New York and she was laughing at all of us complaining how "hot" it was (since it was an unusual treat that we didn't need jackets) while she was getting a nice break from the scorching 95 degree temperatures back east and was thinking it was wonderful to finally have some cool temperatures to enjoy..

Therefore, this week on Meg Goes to Market, I want to post about all things strictly summer related.  From food ideas, to entertaining, baked treats, and the perfect summertime dress that is an essential staple for this time of year!
